Status (SNT)
Status (SNT) is a decentralized messenger and browser that is based on the Ethereum blockchain, which is considered to be the cutting edge technology in the crypto world today. The SNT crypto also allows the users to send payment to friends and family within chats. Creating smart contracts can also be done with Status. The Initial Coin Offering (ICO) took place on June 10, 2017.
According to its developers, SNT is more than just a messenger, but it also lets the users browse the apps that are created on the Ethereum blockchain. The Messenger almost have the same interface with WeChat and Whatsapp, which makes it familiar and easy for the members to use.

How SNT works?
The SNT does not rely on any centralized server to work, but rather uses the peer-to-peer (P2P) protocol, which makes sending crypto back and forth incredibly easy. It also functions as the gateway to all Ethereum applications, where the users can search the name of app/s that is/are being built on Ethereum. The secure messaging feature exists in a P2P system where there will be no central source. The messaging information is all peer-to-peer and end-to-end encrypted.
The Status users can make use of the “Discover” feature in which they can gain access to chat or exchange messages with people who are offering services, currency, and ideas. The SNT’s “Discover” feature allows the community to communicate and together move towards decentralization. The SNT is completely open-source, which means that everyone in their community is welcome to share what ideas they may have.
